St Clare Hospice is bringing its roar-some new public art trail, Lions on the Loose, to Harlow, Epping and Loughton this summer - and we need an incredible team of volunteers to help make it un-fur-gettable!
Whether you can spare a few hours or a few days, your time and enthusiasm will ensure trail-goers of all ages enjoy a magical trail – all while supporting the compassionate care and support that St Clare Hospice provides to its patients, and their families.

🦁 Safari Squad Rangers & Responders: Keep an eye on the trail, ensure the sculptures are in top condition and assist with light maintenance.
🦁In Memory Lion Volunteers: Help ensure the Lions on the Loose legacy lives – and help families remember a loved one - by promoting our special In Memory lion sculpture.
🦁 Farewell Weekend Volunteers: Support the grand finale, help with visitor engagement and trail wrap-up activities.

Corporate volunteering opportunities
We’re inviting local companies looking to make a meaningful impact in their community to get involved in Lions on the Loose – whether that’s bringing colleagues together for a team volunteering day or encouraging employees to volunteer individually in a role that suits them.
From helping visitors enjoy the trail to supporting events and activities along the way, it’s a brilliant opportunity to give back and be part of a colourful, creative event that will bring thousands of people together for a great cause.
Once you’ve gathered your team, each individual volunteer will need to complete the online application form below so we can register everyone and invite you to a Lions on the Loose Volunteer Induction Session.
